13:52: i was on the phone with my friends last night. i made bitter little girl listen to some of the songs from chiquita's album. she wants a copy. heeheehee...
i can't believe it hasn't even been 30 hours... technically, not even 24 hours. not that i"m counting hours... but yesterday felt like one whole week...
woke up to a message from fox saying that we didn't have to do this anymore and that he wanted to speak to me. then i woke up again and found there was no message of the sort on my phone. don't you hate dreams that are so real, you think they really happened?
how am i ever going to survive this?
i'd say concentrate on our thesis, but that's not interesting enough. ...rock n roll living. that's how.

13:08: no day but today pala, ha? haha. funny.
the test begins. agreeing to this was hard, but i guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. may as well give it a shot before i completely lose it. point is, it's something we've both agreed to. the next 40 days is gonna be hell, i can see it.
til september, then.

03:51: flabbergasted...
gawking and blubbering like an idiot...
i just got off the phone with fox. it was a... very revealing conversation. left us both feeling ... ambivalent would be the right word, i guess. my mind was screaming "this is great! ... this is terrible!" i'm going schizo.... we're both scared and unsure.
perhaps his way is better.... stay away from each other for a couple of weeks... then we'll see how things go from there.
strange, though... why is this happening now? now that the old distraction is back and is more likely to be more than a distraction...
meantime... a coup d'état attempt was made earlier and now soldiers are patrolling the metro... just hope my brothers are safe and that fox and his family doesn't get in this mess.

04:54: here i was, excited about fixing this blog and everything... and the pc gets fried. one week later and still i'm working on a new template for my comments.
patience, lifester, patience...
pansin ko lang... the banner above usually advertises things taken from little details found in the author's posts. why then is the banner advertising something about hangovers on my blog?? perhaps it's saying it's time for another lomo session with my lomo-crazed friend, myself and my old friend, the bottle with the silver and blue label... hahahaha!

12:56: i have learned that you need to take risks to get ahead. which is why i decided to go watch nala's first gig at ipanema intead of watching chiquita at tapika, even if i risked watching alone and getting lost (i don't hang out at eastwood). and yes, it did pay off. a lot of my friends were there. katabi ko pa at kasabay kong kumanta yung crush ko! even chiquita's band, his mom and sister were there. hahaha... real sweet! after nala's last set, etoile and i followed at tapika. we only caught the last part of chiquita's last song. biker boy, who was already tipsy before he left us at ipanema, refused to give up on the whole jamming bit. so, long story short, he, etoile, nala and i went to chiquita's house for a late night jam. ang saya saya saya saya! funny... chiquita suddenly went all senti on us when we started singing this one song. he turned off the lights and put on the mood lamps. he kept banging his fist on the bed and shaking his head. poor little chiquita banana.
for some unknown reason, i couldn't care less who i was with that night. i just kept singing with them, right notes or not, no matter how nice or how bad the songs were. wanna know how bad was bad? try this. we just kept singing till their whole house was awake and chiquita's mom made us breakfast. we left at past 10am and got home just before lunch.
it's only now that the embarrassment is sinking in. geez, what was i thinking, trying to sing with those people?! good thing nala never got to record anything.

05:34: had lunch with kizzi this week. got there half an hour late, but things went alright. apparently, i had said too much the last time i chatted with kizzi. oops. we talked about it and other things. we didn't really come up with any solutions and we eventually decided that i should stick it out at home. i guess if things get too fucked-up for me, i can always go out for some music, or grab a drink, or coffee, or something. but talking with kizzi did help, even if i didn't get any answers or any actual help. at least i got to talk it out with someone who already knew about it and can do more than my greatest friend ever could, if only because we're tied by name and by blood.
i also got to watch 28 days later, upon the recommendation of a friend. all he said was that it was by danny boyle and that i should see it. i went into the movie house not knowing it was a monster movie. i don't like monster movies. they're cheesy and not at all scary. and zombie movies are the worst of the lot, if you ask me. this was a zombie movie. but... it was the coolset zombie flick i've ever seen! okay, it's not strictly a zombie movie, in the sense that the "monsters" aren't really zombies. they're called "the infected". but you get the same feel except that these aren't your average sluggish, decaying, thriller-dancing dorks. these guys were faster and more agile. hehehe. danny boyle is kewl.

01:49: hurray for the white and blue! another 1-2 for williams! they're just 3 points away from ferrari in the constructor's championship, and ralf is closing in on kimi in the driver's points. of course i still want kimi to be up there, but i am more of a williams fan than anything. still, mclaren has yet to release their new car. that should make things even tighter.
on to other tv shows...
i'm so happy that axn has been airing ranma 1/2. that was the first anime i ever got addicted to. i used to watch it in chinese off of star mandarin, laughing at the physical comedy, but getting lost when the episodes relied on the language. axn will also be airing 24 soon. yesss... feed them! pretty soon, they'll all be on the edge of their seats, dying to know what happens in the next hour.

05:36: i find it sad that when teams like minardi are seen on the top of the list finishing a qualifying, people think to themselves "...totoo ba yan?"
such was the reaction i got from dodj when he walked in as they flashed the final results for the first day of qualifying in magny-cours. heeheehee...
i'm sure it'll all go back to normal after the second qualifying. provided it doesn't rain, of course.
