01:54: but i wanted to go and ... oh, nevermind.
it's funny how our table toned down the very second bob walked in. etoile used to laugh at how i'd rather sit at the bar by myself than stay anywhere near bobby, even when the table he's at is the only table with familiar faces. but, see? it's not just me! mommyball and i hung our heads as soon as we saw him coming down the lobby. jersey girl turned to face him in what looked like a horrid slow-motion moment the instant she heard his voice. our table's unspoken "oh no, bobby's here!" was deafening.
he's not a bad guy, or anything. he's a great boss. funny, and all. i guess we get on edge because he's so observant, you feel like he's watching your every move, even in the most informal of settings, like tonight's. it's not a bad thing, it just makes me feel like i'm being scrutinized by ... carson kressley. nyahahahaha!
