you have to empathize with all these spanish goalkeepers. i'd be scared shitless if every two minutes, i'd have to block strikes and headers from zidane, beckham, ronaldo and raul. not to mention michael owen and morientes, who haven't seen as much playing time. still, the league's goalies are doing well. that aouete guy was brilliant in madrid's first game. nunez managed to shut down all but one free kick at madrid's home grounds.
i still say real madrid needs more defenders, but with a great bench this season, they'll do fine. barcelona just might kick their arses, though. this ought to be a good season in la liga.
