wev and khali picked me up last night in this horrid lemon yellow two-door lancer with a ridiculously high spoiler, a subwoofer in the trunk, an lcd screen, and funky lights. apparetly the rental we had arranged for my sister to use was still unavailable, so they gave us a high school boy's spaceship instead. it was a trip, though. we got some liempo from andok's and kizzi brought a few beers. we drank on the way to the airport and met up with toon there. after four years and four months, the six yuloy kids are complete again. it's odd how familiar we are with ferdi considering we've never met him. it's great, though! he must have been overwhelmed with all five of us there. we all agree, he's a cool guy. i'm looking forward to spending more time with them (with everyone, actually). they were talking of planning a weekend trip out of town. how i wish i could get weekends off.
i think i'll crawl back into bed. my back has been terrible lately, so bad that i've had to miss work. tests show nothing though, so it's probably just muscular strain. the doctor gave me an ointment to use which does help a bit. i'm thinking a two-hour massage would do me wonders.
