20:24: i had my first class today. i subbed for a teacher who wasn't in. luckily, the tc gave me a student who was on a relatively higher skill level. he was responsive and hardly seemed shy at all. he asked when something wasn't clear, which is a huge help compared to others who stay silent or say they understand when they really don't. before our class ended, he asked me again for my name. now, that could mean one of two things. either i made a good impression, or i sucked so bad that he's calling the main office to issue a complaint. i wish i could say i feel confident that it's the former, but after finding out that my first interview didn't go as well as i had thought, i don't want to assume anything.
