no one really thought that france would be a serious threat to spain. but they beat them. no one ever expects brazil to lose. but they did (again). france has taken out two of my top three teams. germany has taken out the other. i've got no one left to cheer for, except for portugal.
am i ever going to root for france?
yes and no. i've been secretly cheering for france this whole time, mainly because i just want to keep seeing zidane play. i'll keep cheering for them in secret, because now i don't want to jinx them.
